            ITSI’s Specializations

ITSI has a diverse team with skills in information technology and database systems, case processing, and financial management. ITSI has three practice areas with experience and methodologies in technology, operations, and business management as follows:

            Technology


            The technology practice focuses on the full life cycle of the software build process, including software development, system integration, and Independent Verification and Validation (I V&V). We are well versed in the industry best practices including ISO 9001:2000.

            Operations


            The operations practice focuses on the operation and management of complex cases, financial transactions, and support and maintenance of databases. The key focus for ITSI in this area is on project management and staffing.

            Business Management

            The business management practice focuses on quality assurance, change management, transition planning, training, and business process re-engineering.

            Debt Collection Management


            • Directed the successful delivery of the Collection Litigation Automated Support System (CLASS) to the Department of Justice’s (DOJ’s) Justice Management Division and client United States Attorney Offices (USAOs). CLASS implementation included customization of a Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) solution, development of additional applications in Oracle, installation of redundant AS400 systems, and deployment of an entire new system to US Attorney Offices all over the United States.
            • Currently supports the DOJ by providing IV&V and technical support to DCM on CDCS, DMM, FMIS and all other applications that interface with those systems. Supported the migration of CLASS data into CDCS, created A123 narratives and controls, provide financial help desk support/QA tester, support the migration of the DMM module from VM Focus to Web Focus, perform requirements and design reviews, participate in CDCS user acceptance testing and developed CDCS reports used by DCM management for analysis and trendsetting.

            Software Development


            • Design complete database application systems including application configuration, schematics, database layouts, reports, and screens.
            • Manage all aspects of software development and implementation including design, cost analysis, staffing support, and training.
            • Interface design specifications and system requirements with clients’ specifications.

            Database Management


            • Design physical and logical data models for hierarchical, networked, and relationship databases.
            • Design complete client-server application systems, including application configuration, schematics, database layouts, reports, and screens.
            • Create database scheme to address security, data file placement, and user configuration.
            • Handle all aspects of database environment configuration.
            • Provides troubleshooting for staff members and conduct system integration and implementation tasks.
            • Direct data migration activities.

            Technical Architecture


            • Reduce development cost and cost of maintenance by minimizing subsystem interdependencies and increasing reuse and integration with legacy and third party software.
            • Conduct system-tuning activities, and configure physical disk architecture to achieve maximum performance.
            • Provide technical guidance based on in-depth review of design and architecture documents.

            Case Processing


            Assist in the management of the day-to-day operations of case processing and financial operations. Provide mail processing, case data entry, and troubleshooting support.

            Database Support

            Provide database troubleshooting and quality control. Create database reports using Crystal Reports or other database tools. Provide database support and table expertise for user inquiries. Provide assistance on all data migration activities including data cleansing, reporting, and documentation.

            Help Desk

            Provide Tier 3 help desk support. Work directly with users to solve complex financial data and case issues.

            Financial Analysis


            Perform financial analysis and audits for the Consolidated Debt Collection System (CDCS).

            Business Process Reengineering

            Work with the operations and technical staff to create, optimize, and document business processes and procedures. Focus on continuous improvement using our trained Six Sigma black belt personnel.

            Quality Assurance


            Using our proven Quality Assurance Methodologies and our Risk Management tools, we work with our clients to build a quality management program tailored to the needs of your business. From software testing to process reengineering we provide the staff and tools to take your business to the next level.
